Lavender is loved as one of the most used essential oils in the world. Romans used it for scenting the air, bathing and cooking while it served as Egyptian perfume and in their mummification process. There has been a long 2,500-year usage of this essential oil in a range of medicinal and religious requirements. In WW1 it was used in hospitals for its antiseptic properties.
Lavender's calming scent may improve a person's mood and help with insomnia. It has been said to help skin issues like burns, cuts, and dry skin. Some have also reported using it to promote better relaxation and mood.
